What to Expect in a Healing Session
I care deeply about personal and planetary spiritual evolution. This is why I am committed to offering ritualized healing experiences, which stand apart from most bodywork therapies here, in the Port Townsend, Washington region.
Over the years I’ve worked with different holding patterns in my own body, helped them through their own death, and aided in their rebirth directly. This has become the basis of my personal bodywork practice, and the path of my service.
A session with me means you are coming for a personal ceremony. You are coming to me so we can join together in the shared intention to honor your body’s innate Light and potential for Love and Wisdom.
My goal for clients is to support them in discovering increased awareness, as well as providing practical methods to unearth their Light, Love, and Wisdom; for them to recognize this sacred inherent gift and to own it for themselves to reclaim their health and joy with life.
My desire when you leave a session is for you to feel physical release, especially in the cause sites for tension and pain, and for you to be in a deep sense of relaxation, feeling seen, heard, valued, and deeply cared for.
For Optimum Session Success
Preparing for your dedicated healing session:
If possible, book your session on a low impact day.
Eat clean food and keep yourself well hydrated. *Please try not to eat for two hours before your appointment.
Wear your most comfortable, cozy clothing, including socks.
We will work together in front of an altar, so bring something for the altar if you wish.
If you have additional questions or concerns prior to our scheduled session, please contact me so I can offer greater clarity for our time together.
After Session Care
I always send clients away with practices so they can revisit tender areas in their own time. I want you to leave feeling you are capable of doing bodywork on your own, yet you know I am available to provide additional support if you feel you need it.
For best integration success:
Be sure to rest and pace yourself.
Stay hydrated and eat well.
Go for a walk, and spend quality time in nature.
Try some gentle yoga or movement such as dancing.
Stand barefoot outside on the ground.
Have a warm shower or bath. Add Epsom salts and essential oils.
Feel your body! If emotions arise try sitting quietly. Allow yourself to witness your feelings with compassion and release.
Try journaling, drawing or painting. Explore with whatever feeds your spirit!

More About Jen
I hold deep gratitude for the preciousness of human birth. I’ve consciously worked with my own body all my life: from competitive figure skating to competitive power-lifting. I’ve used my body to make large sculptures, plant hundreds of thousands of trees, meditate and prostrate, care for children, create colorful beadwork, make sails, splice rope, and so much more. I currently have a deeply spiritual bodywork practice involving all I’ve learned from a lifetime of movement, which informs my work with clients.
